New House Country Hotel - Cardiff

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were all really helpful and friendly, the room was large and comfortable, lovely decor. It was perfect with our dog as you could walk around the grounds and he could not have been made more welcome. The hotel is in countryside but close enough to Cardiff that you can see the lights in the distance. The views were beautiful. We will definitely go again.

The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and everything ran so smoothly thanks to the wonderful team here. We especially want to highlight Linda and Page, who were absolutely brilliant with us in every way. Their attentiveness, kindness, and professionalism went above and beyond what we expected. Nothing was ever too much trouble – they anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and always did so with a genuine smile. It’s rare to come across people who not only excel at their jobs but also clearly care so much about making every guest’s experience a special one. Thanks to Linda and Page, our visit was memorable for all the right reasons. They turned a great experience into an exceptional one, and we left already planning our return. This was my second stay at this hotel the location and amenities are wonderful but I really want to highlight the customer service we had on our stay. I had booked in person a month ago and requested a specific room to surprise my husband for his birthday, unfortunately there was a mix up and we were allocated a much smaller although lovely room. I explained the situation to the front desk unfortunately I didn’t get the lady’s name but she was amazing; she showed me a selection of rooms and let me pick which one I liked best. We were upgraded to what I believe was the bridal suite for no extra charge and our checkout was extended. Our stay was wonderful I couldn’t fault anything. Thank you so much to everyone we will most definitely be back.

Room clean and comfortable, bed huge, slept so well, bathroom could have been a show room! Had to ask cleaning team for tips Staff helpful, friendly and fun. Breakfast very good, caters for all. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful views across Cardiff. The outdoor enclosed and heated tea/coffee tables are fun, enjoying the beautiful view. Will be back

I've stayed in many hotels in my time and after a while you really start to appreciate the little things. The staff here are lovely, really going out of their way for us especially looking after the little one with his own special omelette at breakfast plus remembering his name for a "goodnight". I would definitely recommend a stay here if you want a bit of home comfort/luxury and relaxation while being looked after by some exceptional staff

Stayed one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Excellent accommodation we had an accessible room 13 on the ground floor. Huge bed,walk in shower good size room. All staff were excellent from check in to departure. Superb views. Well worth the money.

Lovely hotel situated close to Cardiff but away from the noise and traffic, great views over Cardiff and surrounding countryside. Very pleasant stay, rooms, facilities,staff and gardens were all excellent. Would be very happy to stay again.

Attended their bonfire night event - absolutely creaking! Amazing atmosphere, fantastic food, music, fireworks and drinks. Such a cosy and safe way to enjoy bonfire night. Fab value for money too. Well done team!
